About the Conference

The National Conference on Biodiversity Conservation, scheduled for 29 December 2026, aims to provide a dynamic academic platform for researchers, academicians, students, environmentalists, conservation practitioners, policymakers, and professionals to discuss emerging challenges and innovative strategies for biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.

Biodiversity is essential for maintaining ecological balance, ecosystem stability, food security, climate resilience, and human well-being. However, habitat destruction, climate change, pollution, invasive alien species, deforestation, and unsustainable exploitation of natural resources pose serious threats to biological diversity. Addressing these challenges requires interdisciplinary research, effective conservation policies, community participation, and the integration of scientific knowledge with traditional ecological practices.

The conference will cover diverse areas, including wildlife conservation, forest ecology, insect diversity, pollination biology, ecosystem restoration, environmental pollution, climate change, conservation genetics, biodiversity monitoring, sustainable agriculture, freshwater biodiversity, and community-based conservation. The conference also aims to strengthen research collaborations among academic institutions, government agencies, conservation organizations, and industry stakeholders.

📚 Publication: Selected conference papers will be considered for publication in the International Journal of Life Sciences (ISSN 2320-7817), subject to rigorous peer review and compliance with the journal’s publication guidelines.
