The department is established in the year 1989, with the establishment of the college. This is an active department in which number of sports activities are organized through out the year. It helps in building the health of the students. In this respect the college took an important step to expose its sports persons to higher levels of sport competitions. Therefore, the teams were allowed to participate in the different tournaments at various levels. The number of participating students in these tournaments increased gradually and today our college is a proud participant in number of sports events. Our college is not lagging behind in taking the responsibility of organizing and conducting the inter collegiate tournaments.
