Department of Hindi is established in the year 1999 along with the establishment of the college. Hindi is being taught as one of the optional and second language both for the students of Arts and extra-curricular activities which includes seminars, group discussion, debate compititions, interviews and elocution skills.
The department used to celebrate “Hindi Week” every year; during which the students are benefited with the guest lectures of number of eminent persons. It adds to the knowledge of the students and enables them to be confident in their subject. The department organized one day regional workshop for Hindi as a second language in the collaboration with the university of Nanded and such are the activities undertaken and to be undertaken to create the department interactive.
