Political Science

The department is established in the year 1989, along with the establishment of the college. It is an important department which arranges number of curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities every year to create interest among students. It also conducts number of competitions like debate, elocution skills etc of the students. It has its study association through which students are benefited by the guest lecturers of subject experts.

Political science is the study of politics and power from domestic, international, and comparative perspectives. It entails understanding political ideas, ideologies, institutions, policies, processes, and behaviour, as well as groups, classes, government, diplomacy, law, strategy, and war Political science broadly refers to the study of governments, public policies and political behavior both in the United States and abroad, according to the American Political Science Association Political science focuses on the theory and practice of government and politics at the local, state, national, and international levels.
